Hogwarts at Christmas
The Harry Potter tour at Warner Brothers in London is now open to the public for an exciting and heartwarming view. The tour gives a breathtaking glimpse of the magical land of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This tour is in an actual perfect scale model of the real Hogwarts Castle, used to film the first Harry Potter movie. The model will now be open for this breathtaking tour. The Warner Brothers have the location set up as Harry Potter was during Christmas time. There are Christmas trees, presents and holiday meals to present a very “home” like feeling all over this magical setting. There are also historical items to the movie such as the Invisible Cloak made open for the visitors to see on the tour. There will be eight Christmas trees set up, each having over 200 gold stars. As well as dining halls set with luxurious meals and decorations, just like in the films. On these dining tables is also miniature boxed presents, each with colors representing the different house colors. While the food on these tables are made of plastic, the warm feeling you get from seeing this wonderful world made real is priceless. Bat Hospital
The Tolga Bat Hospital in Atherton, Australia is altering the way people think about bats. This hospital is in charge of rescuing and then releasing the recently healed bats out into the wild again. On average, 300 bats are taken in annually. Just as any other animal hospital, this special bat hospital has many volunteers however there is one difference.The hospital even has some retired bats, spending the rest of their lives in a safe environment. The Tolga Bat Hospital also allows vistors, charging ten dollars for kids and eighteen for adults. The Tolga Bat Hospital is doing an excellent job of warming people's hearts over the pain and anguish some bats have gone through.
