Bat Hospital

The Tolga Bat Hospital in Atherton, Australia is altering the way people think about bats. This hospital is in charge of rescuing and then releasing the recently healed bats out into the wild again. On average, 300 bats are taken in annually. Just as any other animal hospital, this special bat hospital has many volunteers however there is one difference.The hospital even has some retired bats, spending the rest of their lives in a safe environment. The Tolga Bat Hospital also allows vistors, charging ten dollars for kids and eighteen for adults. The Tolga Bat Hospital is doing an excellent job of warming people's hearts over the pain and anguish some bats have gone through.
